I’m thrilled to say that I’ve added yet another issue to my ongoing series of mini zines! and this one, is titled “pools”…
this third issue is about the summer after high school, when my best friend and I used to sneak into swimming pools. this particular memory is very personal, and something I’ve always wanted to incorporate into some sort of creative project. no joke, I’ve dabbled with illustrating and drawing this idea for years. I’m so happy to have captured it in a zine – a format I’ve become quite in love with over the past few months…
much like my other mini zines, you can take a video tour of this one over on my youtube channel! “pools”, along with a restock of “two weeks in may” and “things I’ve buried“, is available now in my etsy shop!
***UPDATE: all mini zines are now SOLD OUT! thank-you so so much to those who grabbed one! if you missed out, I’ll be doing a restock in September…so stay tuned 🙂 ***
it’s a new month, which means a new artsnacks box and another box breakdown! the ‘box breakdown’ is a monthly video I put together for the folks over at artsnacks. it’s an in-depth look at the supplies & techniques found in the latest monthly box.
I’m particularly fond of this month’s box breakdown video – I think because I jam packed so much stuff into it! you can hop on over to the artsnacks youtube channel to watch it…
happy friday, and I hope you all have a creative weekend!

+ if you’re new to artsnacks, I’ve got a discount code for ya…use the code BYBUN10 at checkout to get 10% off your first month’s box.
happy sunday everyone! I’m here to chat about all-things-ArtSnacks…which as some of you may know, is one of my favorite things ever…
if you’re unfamiliar with ArtSnacks, it’s a monthly subscription box – where each month you get little mystery box in the mail full of art supplies! I’ve been a subscriber to their monthly boxes for quite a while now. every month since signing up I truly enjoy getting the box, being surprised, discovering (and being challenged by) new supplies, and even creating unboxing videos on YouTube.
I had hinted here and there on my vlog about a secret project. well now I can say – that secret is that I have started to collaborate with ArtSnacks to create videos for their YouTube channel! you guys have no idea how thrilled I am about this. to be an artist working with a company that I genuinely love and have been a customer of for so long, is freakin’ exciting!!
as you might have seen at the end of June I created the first video called the Box Breakdown. the idea of the breakdown is that it gives you an in-depth look at the supplies and techniques found in the latest ArtSnacks box. think of it like an unboxing video on steroids (haha). you not only see what’s in the box, but you learn how to use it! I’m stoked to say that I’ll now be creating a ‘Box Breakdown’ for them every month, and you can catch the latest one for the July box here.
again, I can’t express enough how happy I am about this collaboration. these guys are the freakin’ best (and watch this video about the co-founders if you haven’t already, it’s one of my favs on their channel). I also want to give an extra special shout out to those of you who have left such wonderful comments on the videos already – thank-you!!
you can subscribe to the ArtSnacks YouTube channel, but also know that I’ll be putting a post here every time a new ‘breakdown’ video is up. that way you’ll stay totally up to date… 😉
PSSST!!-> if you’re new to ArtSnacks, I’ve got a discount code for ya! use the code BYBUN10 at checkout to get 10% off your first month’s box!
for the first time ever, I am selling some original journal spreads and ‘in-progress’ spreads from a few of my altered book journals!
as you may have seen on instagram, a few weeks ago while cleaning my studio I found a stash of altered books that weren’t fully finished, or that were falling apart. rather than hoarding this artwork for myself, I’ve decided to pass it on and list it in my etsy shop.
you can hop on over here to check out everything I’ve listed! there are 8 completed spreads (one of which is still in a book), and 4 ‘in-progress’ spreads…
***UPDATE: everything is now SOLD OUT! thank-you so so so much for those of you with quick fingers and who may have been watching my Etsy shop. all listings were gone within 10 minutes from the time I posted…THANK-YOU!! <3***
as promised, I’m bringing you some photos and a video tour of mini journal #9! hop on over here to watch the video…
+ reminder: this fully altered mini journal, along with 3 others, will be available for purchase in my etsy shop TOMORROW MORNING @ 9am PST!
***UPDATE: THESE MINIS ARE NOW ALL SOLD!***
