+ be one of the first 10 students to enroll in the class and you’ll snag one of these! good luck everyone! ***UPDATE: the giveaway item is now sold out!!!***
this class has been several months in the making. and this past week, I literally dropped everything I was doing to ensure I could launch this baby on actually Halloween!
it’s been a true labor of love, blood, sweat and tears – but I’ve honestly never been so pleased with an online class before. this one feels personal, detailed, and really fresh for me. I can’t wait for you all to experience it <3
I’ll see you in class…xo
yes yes yes yes yaaaassssss! I can now finally reveal the complete details of my new online art journal class HALLOWED GROUND. you guys. I’ve been pouring my little black heart and creative soul into this one…big time. I think this is the first time I’ve created a class that truly mirrors my current art making process and a subject matter I’ve been exploring in my work so much lately…
as with my other online classes – I’ve created an entire web page dedicated just to this class and you can check it out right here. it’s got everything you need to know: the full class description, some sample spreads, what’s included, the price, faq’s, etc. and of course, don’t forget to watch the official class trailer which I’ve put down below:
per launch day tradition, I’ll be doing a little giveaway on Tuesday when the class goes live on Etsy! the first 10 students who enroll in the class will receive a hand painted mini coffin containing a little surprise (or two…wink!). these launch-day giveaways typically go super fast, and with only 10 this time around…I highly recommend being ready at 8am PST on Tuesday if you want to try and snag one!
it feels so fitting to be releasing this class on Halloween, as it’s such a magical day of the year. and I look forward to sharing it with all of you (and it might just be favorite class yet, eek!!). I hope maybe you’ll trick-or-TREAT-YO-SELF and join me…
see you on Halloween…xo
*this journal spread was completed in one of my moleskine ‘art plus’ sketchbooks, and the text is lyrics from fiona apple’s ‘sleep to dream’
for the first time ever, I am selling some original journal spreads and ‘in-progress’ spreads from a few of my altered book journals!
as you may have seen on instagram, a few weeks ago while cleaning my studio I found a stash of altered books that weren’t fully finished, or that were falling apart. rather than hoarding this artwork for myself, I’ve decided to pass it on and list it in my etsy shop.
you can hop on over here to check out everything I’ve listed! there are 8 completed spreads (one of which is still in a book), and 4 ‘in-progress’ spreads…
***UPDATE: everything is now SOLD OUT! thank-you so so so much for those of you with quick fingers and who may have been watching my Etsy shop. all listings were gone within 10 minutes from the time I posted…THANK-YOU!! <3***
woah you guys. look at me…all…being on top of things…and actually getting an unboxing video up on time! you can hop on over to my YouTube channel and watch me open up the May ArtSnacks box and create this journal spread using the supplies.
oh and bonus – if you’re new to ArtSnacks and want to subscribe, use the code BYBUN10 to get 10% off your first month’s box!
enjoy, and happy art snackin’!
looking back in my blog archives – I realized that I don’t put up blog posts like this very frequently. if my research serves me correct, my last ‘in progress’ post was in 2015! needless to say, I’ll work on sharing photos like this more often…
this is a small sampling of art journal spreads that are deemed ‘in progress’. each of these spreads are at various percentages of completion, but in my mind they are not done. from here, they will either be finished, forgotten and returned to later on, or abandoned in their entirety. only time will tell…
