it’s been quite some time since my last wes wednesday post. what a horrible wes anderson fan I’ve been!

we all know the director has a knack for obsessively detailed characters, sets and story lines. that need for ocd detail also transcribes right into his visual framing. I think about the day I finally become an art teacher, and what a perfect example of symmetry and composition this would be.

anyone see grand budapest yet? I haven’t, but I’m hoping to catch it this weekend or the next…

if wes anderson directed a horror film (as told by SNL). I’m sure this will make its rounds quickly in the blogosphere.

is it sad that part me wishes this was a real film? as much as I feel like SNL isn’t what it used to be and full of lackluster sketches as of late, I must say this one is pretty damn brilliant.

…and accurate (if I say so myself).

missing my good ol’ wes wednesday feature – it’s just been far too long.

anyone else counting down till his newest film grand budapest hotel? they finally revealed the poster for the 2014 film (above), and apparently there’s a preview coming out later this week (I’ve heard thursday).

**update – trailer is finally released! can’t. freaking. wait. for this movie.
