there’s been a little hamster in my brain spinning away this idea for about a year now: ART SHOP. basically- it’s an art workshop taught in my home (or yours!) or in a studio for special events, parties, birthdays, or just a reason to get together with a group of friends…


ART SHOP is an all day workshop where you’re allowed to let go, get creative, and learn a thing or two you didn’t know going in. there is no prior art training required- just an open mind, and the desire to be creative for an entire day. focusing on one project through step by step instruction, you’ll work with a medium or technique you have never used, learn exercises to break creative blocks and stay motivated, and walk away with one (maybe two) finished pieces…





this weekend was my first trial run of the idea and had a few friends willing to put the workshop to the test. while I will get into more detail and share legit photos (and a VIDEO!) soon, I will summarize in saying: IT WAS A FABULOUS TIME! I think the girls really enjoyed themselves- and it was SO FUN seeing everyone’s final work!!
